You can work out one chair and then multiply, instead of costing both orders.
on ONE chair the saving is $23 − $19 = $4.
there are 60 chairs, and each one saves that same $4.
60 × $4 = $240 saved altogether.
The long way works too and is a good check: 60 × $23 = $1380, 60 × $19 = $1140, and $1380 − $1140 = $240. Same answer, more steps.
