- We need
- The 5th number.
take the first two on their own: 10 − 6 = 4.
try a second pair, because one pair can agree by luck: 14 − 10 = 4. And 18 − 14 = 4.
Every jump is the same, so the rule is ADD 4.
one more jump from the last number: 18 + 4 = 22.
